Essex Metallic linen/cotton is a midweight fabric that works for a huge range of projects: garments, accessories, home dec, quilting, and more. It’s a good choice for skirts, dresses, pants, lightweight jackets, and button up shirts. The lurex fiber gives the fabric a metallic, shimmery appearance. Even with the lurex content, this fabric is not at all scratchy and is still machine washable.
Infuse your makes with the mellow glow of Robert Kaufman’s Essex Yarn Dyed Metallic in Copper. Woven from a breathable linen-cotton blend and dusted with fine Lurex threads, this near-solid fabric offers a sophisticated flicker of light that elevates quilts, garments and home décor without overpowering your palette. The warm copper tone harmonizes effortlessly with earthy neutrals, autumn florals or modern geometrics, making it a versatile staple you’ll reach for again and again.
