Unfortunately, we cannot send replacement patterns for our printed patterns. We suggest purchasing PDF sewing patterns instead, that way you can simply print a new pattern if you lose one. PDF patterns are emailed to you after we have received your payment in full. Either download and save the PDF, or save the email if needed in the future. PDF patterns are also saved in your account on our website.

You can make items for gift or for sale with my patterns only in small batches. Large batch or commercial production of items made from my patterns is not allowed. I do ask that you credit Sallie Tomato as the designer of the pattern. If you are selling the item, please include the name of the pattern used, Sallie Tomato as the designer, and my website on the listing for the item and on a tag attached to the item. Purse Hardware Questions
Each style of hardware is currently available in five finishes: nickel, gold, antique, gunmetal, and rose gold.

There are generally two qualities of purse hardware finishes: rolling finish and hanging finish. All of my purse hardware has a hanging finish with lacquer for added protection and shine! Rolling finish is a lower quality of plating. It doesn’t look as shiny and doesn’t last as long as a hanging finish. Purse hardware with rolling finish has a very fine layer of color and has the tendency to rub off quickly. Hanging finish is a high quality plating method. Each item is individually dipped and later sprayed with lacquer for a long-lasting coat. This process is more labor intensive, and therefore more expensive; however, you can feel and see the difference compared to rolling finish. Bag making can be very time consuming, so it's important to invest in purse hardware that will last.
Each batch of purse hardware is plated by the same factory; however, sometimes the finish may be slightly different from one batch to another due to variance in dye lots. This is most noticeable on gold hardware; however, sometimes a slight variance in color may be seen on our other colors of purse hardware. Please be aware that we try our best to match each batch of hardware, but some may appear slightly darker or lighter. Once you add the hardware to your bag, you won't be able to see a difference. A difference in dye lot does not mean that our quality of our hardware is any less. Thank you for your understanding!
All fabrics are sold in 1 inch increments. We will cut a continuous piece for you by the width of fabric. For example, if you want a 1/4 yard of cotton, change the quantity to 9 and you'll receive a piece that is 9" by 42" wide. By selling fabric by the inch, there's less waste because you receive the exact amount you need!
There are two major types of faux leather - vinyl-based and polyurethane-based. Our faux leather is polyurethane-based. Vinyl-based is basically dyed plastic. Examples are marine vinyl and clear vinyl (which are very stiff). Polyurethane-based is made by coating natural fabrics like cotton or polyester, then treating it to look like real leather. This type of faux leather is more soft, flexible, and breathable than vinyl-based leather.
PDF patterns are downloadable as soon as you complete the checkout process. The pattern is divided into multiple files: a cover, instructions, and sometimes extra printables. The pattern is printable on Letter or A4 format paper.

Our shipping is calculated by weight, dimensions of package, and location; however, sometimes the website makes a mistake, or we can fit it into a smaller size box than estimated. If the shipping seems obnoxiously high, please contact us with your order details and shipping address for a more accurate quote. All First Class postage does not include insurance. Please be aware that the purchaser is responsible for any customs, duty, and taxes that may occur if you are outside of the United States. Orders ship promptly within 3-5 business days of receiving payment, unless an item is on back order or due to high sales volume. Standard delivery is 2-5 days. Priority is 1-3 days. Priority Express is 1-2 days. International is 3-20 days. Please understand that we try our best to provide timely service.
I will send you a confirmation email that your order has been shipped and provide you with a tracking number. Please check your spam folder if you do not receive tracking information beyond our order processing time. Items are dispatched from Wisconsin and will arrive according to shipping method you choose, unless item is back ordered. Please make sure your address is correct.
