First time to make this style of a bag. I love that it has 3 sizes. I opted to make the large. The written directions were easy to follow. It really helped to watch the ST video first since I’m a visual learner.
I am very happy with the way it turned out. I’ve been asked by several people where I got my bag. When I revealed that I had made it, I was asked to make one for them. I’m already on my 6th bag. It has become my most requested bag.
It’s been fun to make each one unique by using different fabric patterns, accents and zipper pulls.

I’m really liking this pattern. It’s an easy one but if you get hung u on a procedure, there is a nice, helpful YouTube to watch. I’m on my third Ferris Bag this week!

This pattern and the video instruction were easy to follow and resulted in a beautiful product. Love the 3 size options included and the pattern is fairly forgiving for people who are curved-piecing challenged 😀. Once you are familiar with the pattern, it's easy to customize with quilt blocks on the pockets, too! Great pattern, would highly recommend.

Personally, I thought 95% of the instructions were clear. In my next one, I won't be putting fusible fleece on the strap connectors as they were WAY too thick to sew even with a heavy duty needle. The only part that was confusing was adding the front extensions (yes, even with the video), and I had to unpick both sides to get it right. Other than that, the pattern has nice clean finishes and great opportunities for customization.
