Behind the Scenes with Jess!

Winter and the holiday season are quickly approaching, and we have been busy creating project ideas to make sure you have time to sew!
Behind the scenes at Sallie Tomato, we had our second annual chili cook off, which is always fun to spend some extra time with our team. We are excitedly planning our second annual Sallie Tomato & Co box around the 2024 Pantone color of the year (Apricot Crush). Also, we traveled to Houston for the International Quilt Market, so be sure to check in with your local quilt shop and see if they have any of our newest bag making supplies!

Behind the scenes at home, we had the best time taking Jax and Dakota trick or treating this year! Jax was a snake (of course) and Dakota was a dinosaur. Since I was so focused on their costumes, I didn't dress up myself - but I want to plan better for next year since I have so many family costume ideas! At least I had my Halloween bag with me! ;)

I've been so inspired to branch outside of my comfort zone lately. With my bag designs, I usually tend to lean more simplistic and classic. However, in 2024 I plan to expect some unexpected bag shapes and designs from me! I hope you'll be inspired to embrace your true style and "create the things you wish existed" in the year ahead!
We hope you have a lovely November! Happy Sewing! :)
