I had difficulty sewing (top stitching) the cut out circle even with using a zipper foot

One tip that might help: try **raising the presser foot slightly while navigating curves**. This can reduce drag and give your stitches a smoother finish, especially when dealing with tight circular shapes. It’s a small adjustment, but it can make a noticeable difference.
