The Lucky Penny Wallet is a simple, slim wallet that has been designed for sewing with cork fabric, vinyl, or kraft-tex. It only requires a small amount of material. This is a wonderful pattern for anyone who is sewing with cork, vinyl, or kraft-tex for the first time, or for using up scraps!

I've also included SVG cutting files if you prefer to cut the pieces with a digital cutting machine! Awesome, right?! From start to finish, this sewing pattern takes approximately 30-60 minutes complete.

FINISHED SIZE: 7-1/2" wide and 4" high

PATTERN DIFFICULTY: 1 Novice

FEATURES: Six card slots, one ID pocket, money pocket, area for cell phone or checkbook, and strap closure

HARDWARE REQUIRED: There is no required hardware for this pattern! In addition, you can add an optional 1/2" Magnetic Snap, Pocket Flip Lock, Tassel and Handmade Label. More additional optional hardware can be listed if on the back of the pattern cover.

ZIPPER REQUIRED: This pattern doesn't require a zipper!

Included with this purchase is the pattern cover and the pattern instructions. Each of our patterns are complete with step-by-step illustrations to help make the written directions easier to understand. Included are many sewing techniques and tips to help you achieve a quality, finished project. Each pattern is designed to help you learn and expand your sewing skills!

Most patterns are measured and cut, which means that the pieces will need to be cut with a rotary cutter, ruler, and cutting mat. Some patterns may include templates for shaping and/or cutting out the pieces.

Trace or photocopy the pattern piece(s) onto a separate sheet of paper. If printing or copying template(s), print at 100% or actual size. Measure the test square provided in the pattern to ensure the pieces are the correct size. Tape corresponding pieces together before cutting fabric, aligning red lines, shapes, and outer edges. It’s also helpful to write the name and cutting instructions on each pattern piece. Cut out pattern pieces along solid black lines, unless otherwise stated.

Great Wallet pattern

This was a really easy pattern. I had traveled to Portugal and purchased some cork. I added a zipper to the wallet. The end result was great!

great wallet!

I like the way this wallet goes together. I did make a couple of modifications to make it better for me. I added a coin area on the back and added more of the credit card slots in the middle instead of the ID area. I also added a lining so the areas behind the credit card slots would hold cash.
