Sewing with vinyl

I have sewn quite a few bags with Sallie Tomato vinyl before but this time the vinyl included with the Sophie kit I received is fighting my machine! It is sticking beneath the needle!

Thank you for the review -we recommend either a non stick needle, or vinyl needle. A non stick presser foot may be helpful as well. Hello, my name is Jessica Barrera and I'm the Founder of Sallie Tomato. I originally opened my shop in 2014 during college. I began by selling items that I had sewn myself. It wasn’t until 2016 that I released my first pattern, the Puppy Pillow. Now, my passion is to design quality sewing patterns, so you can create too!

SHOP NAME HISTORY

The name of my shop developed around my middle name, Sallie.  Also, the tomato pin cushion is a well-recognized symbol of sewing.  Thank you for visiting my website!
