Our premium cork fabric is carefully renowned for its softness, durability, and consistent quality so it sews beautifully on both domestic and industrial machines. Unlike lower-grade corks that can crack, flake, or feel stiff, ours is smooth, pliable, and designed specifically for bag making and detailed sewing projects.
This fabric is Limited Edition and was designed Stephanie Organes a fabric designer for Andover Fabrics and a passionate quilter based in Mexico City, where she lives with her husband and two children. She began quilting after the birth of her first daughter, which grew into her brand, Pretty Please, and led her to discover a love for fabric design as a way to tell stories through color and pattern. Inspired by family life, travel, and cherished places, her collections blend feminine charm with a playful, modern style and have been featured in What Women Create magazine, along with collaborations with leaders like Missouri Star Quilt Company, ByAnnie, and WonderFil. With seven collections for Andover Fabrics and more on the way, she’s excited to share her signature storytelling style with the Sallie Tomato Cork Club.
Our high-quality cork fabric consists of a thin layer of 100% natural cork bonded to a high-quality textile backing for strength and stability. The result is a material that feels luxurious like leather, but is lightweight, flexible, and much easier to sew.
Printed cork designs are limited edition and exclusive runs, meaning once they sell out, they will not be restocked. This makes each project feel truly unique and collectible.

- Print Direction: The ruler shown in the image is placed parallel to the fabric selvage and indicates the direction of the print.
Matching Thread:
For the best finish, we recommend Sulky 40 wt Poly Deco Thread. It provides strength for construction and a polished look for topstitching. Thread #1224 is a coordinating match for this fabric.
Nuestro tejido de corcho de alta calidad es un producto natural. Se produce directamente a partir de la corteza del alcornoque. - Sustainable - Cork fabric is considered an eco-friendly material because it is harvested from the renewable bark of cork oak trees. The harvesting process does not harm the trees, and they continue to grow and produce cork for many years.
- Lightweight - 50% of its volume is air! This makes it ideal for bags.
- Washable & Stain Resistant - Simply wipe clean with soap and water periodically.
- Hypoallergenic - Cork fabric is resistant to dust, making it very unlikely to cause an allergic reaction. It is very gentle on your skin, which makes it ideal for bags, home decor, and craft projects.
- Durable - Cork ages without deteriorating mainly due to its resistance to moisture. Cork cells are packed closely together in radial rows. This honeycomb structure makes cork extremely durable and abrasion resistant.
- Water Resistant & Antimicrobial - This material does not allow water to pass through easily and inhibits the growth of bacteria and viruses.
- Unique - This fabric is all natural, soft, and flexible. No two pieces are alike!
