The Country Cow gave more inspiration for what to do with the box, but it would nice to see a few bags made strictly with Sallie Tomato mystery box and either fabric from them or a well known artist to get the creative juices flowing.
What I mean by strictly is few get Gray Vinyl, you use Gray Vinyl not faux croc.

Impressive

This was my first BOM kit and Sallie Tomato did not dissapoint. The pattern downloaded without issue and the contents of the kit were complete as described. I also started viewing the video tutorial from the bag designer, Country Cow Designs, and I am very impressed. I haven't had time to start yet but I'm looking forward to completing the project. If future kits are as good as this one, I'm going to have a wonderful collection of bags. Thank you Sallie Tomato for introducing bag maker patterns I wouldn't normally have found.

The fact that everything arrived as described and the pattern download went smoothly is already a win—but adding in the video tutorial from Country Cow Designs really takes it to the next level. I love Sallie Tomato and its designs, materials and supplies! I loved getting the first two boxes but am canceling as I really just want their designs. The other two are fine too but not Sallie Tomato!

First bag club project

I am currently working on the first project. I had a little hiccup downloading the pattern/ directions. I have never used a square box before and got it downloaded in about 15 minutes, but it took about an hour to figure out where it was on my I pad. Then the iPad kept turning off every 3 minutes. Finally I talked with a friend about ways to get it on my laptop, I had to airdrop it. That worked fine, now to figure out how to get the u tube video on my tv so I can see it better! I have worked on the purse all day today and now have the front exterior finished. Tomorrow I’ll start on the back exterior panel. Then I’ll work on the lining, I figure about 2 weeks to finish it. I am enjoying the actual sewing part, I wish I had a paper pattern in the kit. I am not that great at all the computer tricks! Can we get the u tube video on the regular u tube Chanel on the tv?

It sounds like you've had quite the journey just getting everything set up, but it’s awesome that you’ve made so much progress already with the front exterior of the purse! I can imagine that working with digital patterns can be a bit tricky if you’re more used to paper ones, but it’s great that you’re still enjoying the sewing part!

As for getting the YouTube video on your TV, yes, you should be able to do that with a few different methods. If you have a smart TV, you can try these:

Casting from your iPad: If your TV supports AirPlay or Chromecast, you can directly cast the YouTube video from your iPad to your TV. Just swipe down from the top-right corner of your iPad to access the control center, tap the 'Screen Mirroring' or 'AirPlay' option, and select your TV.

YouTube app on your TV: If you have a smart TV with the YouTube app, you can just search for the video directly on your TV.

Casting via a streaming device (like Roku or Chromecast): If you have one of these, you can cast the video directly from your iPad to the TV using the YouTube app.

Since you mentioned you’re working on the bag for a couple of weeks, it’s nice that you’ll be able to watch the video at a comfortable size while sewing. Hopefully, that’ll make the whole process smoother!
