We've made it easy for you by putting together a professional-looking Hardware Kit for the Crockett! 

All of the necessary pieces of hardware to make one Crockett are included in one kit.

Included in Hardware Kit:

  • (2) 1” Swivel Hooks (STS139x)
  • (3) 1” D-Rings (STS107x)
  • (1) 1” Rectangle Ring (STS111xT)
  • (1) 1” Slider Buckle (STS125xT)

Sallie Tomato offers the highest quality hardware. All of our purse hardware has a hanging finish with lacquer for added protection and shine!  

There are two types of plating methods for hardware: hanging and rolling. For hanging finish, each item is individually dipped and later sprayed with lacquer for a long-lasting coat. This process is more labor intensive than rolling finish, and therefore more expensive. You can feel and see the difference compared to rolling finish. Bag making is a passionate pursuit and takes time, so it’s important to have purse hardware that lasts.

Each style of hardware is currently available in five finishes: nickel, gold, antique, gunmetal, and rose gold. Select hardware is now available in iridescent rainbow, antique nickel, and Tula Pink finish!

Crockett Bag Kit

Very pleased with the results of making the Crockett Bag with the Sallie Tomato Kit. The faux waxed canvas is high quality- great feel to it, yet handled well for sewing with my Janome 4120 QDC machine. Same with the faux leather- nice body minimal stretch and my machine handles all thicknesses fine. The Patt is clear and takes you step by step through the construction of the bag. Although I am an experienced sewist and quilter, this was the first bag I have made. Very pleased with it. It’s a gift for my son, and my husband really likes it. Guess I’ll have to make him one.
