Fantastic!

I absolutely love working with the faux leather I purchased in a beautiful burgundy ostrich finish. It looks and feels so expensive. I was worried about sewing a handbag with faux leather on my domestic machine because I had trouble with another brand of faux leather. But I am able to top stitch through several layers of this with ease using my regular foot! The hardware and zipper tape that coordinate are very high quality as well. Sallie tomato is the best! Thank you!

Hello, my name is Jessica Barrera and I'm the Founder of Sallie Tomato. I originally opened my shop in 2014 during college. I began by selling items that I had sewn myself. It wasn’t until 2016 that I released my first pattern, the Puppy Pillow. Now, my passion is to design quality sewing patterns, so you can create too!

SHOP NAME HISTORY

The name of my shop developed around my middle name, Sallie.  Also, the tomato pin cushion is a well-recognized symbol of sewing.  Thank you for visiting my website!
