This bag is a classic style hobo bag, meant to be used everyday.  The name and design of Holly was loosely inspired by film and fashion icon, Audrey Hepburn, and the movie Breakfast at Tiffany’s. Also, for the first time ever, I've releasing a full-length video tutorial to go along with the pattern. In the video, I complete the project from start to finish, following along with the pattern. Throughout the video I also explain some tips to help with the written instructions. Be sure to watch an introduction to the online class below!

I've created a hardware kit for this bag that includes all of the hardware you need to complete one Holly.  Kits are available in silver, gold, antique, gunmetal black, and copper finish.  Included in hardware kit are (2) 1″ Rectangle Rings, (1) 1″ Slider Buckle, and (1) Magnetic Snap.

I recommend using fabric that doesn’t fray for the contrast such as cork, vinyl, kraft-tex, or leather because some of the pieces are left as a raw edge. Quilting cotton can be used for the lining. This bag has a more professional, long-lasting finish if the recommended fabrics are used. This pattern would not be possible without my wonderful group of pattern testers! I appreciate their hard work!

What good is it to have an intro video but no tutorial video for this bag? I just bought the paper pattern at a quilt shop today and was looking forward to watching the video as I constructed this bag.
