Get ready to dress your table with bright, popping colors this month as we “travel” to this this one-of-a-kind destination that gives you ALL of the tropical vibes: welcome to Belize!
We had “sew" much fun putting this vibrant, extraordinary & authentic tablescape together. Keep reading for the brand NEW pattern, announced below!
New Pattern!:
As you may know from our past tablescapes with the "Around the World Series, each month we release patterns for you to add to your unique table setting. This month is no different! Impress any of your guests when you create your very own Dresden pattern!
This reversible table topper pattern was designed by the very talented Kate B.! Dresden can be made with our eco-friendly Cork Fabric (pictured), and comes together in little-to-no-time at all! Add to your dining room table as a standalone centerpiece, or underneath your favorite vase, candles, and more! Go bold with your color choices and make this pattern stand out.
Choose different colors for the opposite sides to change it with the seasons to keep your Dresden pattern out all year 'round!
Setting The Table:
This month, we chose to add large monstera leaves to this table, that perfectly compliments the baby blue & teals in the Belize Spring fabric, and gives off a relaxing, tropical feel. Browse the whole coordinating "Belize" fabric collection on our site, that was designed by Lauren Lesley Studio by PBS Fabrics to get your inspiration!
We added all kinds of foliage in different sized vases and plant holders to make this table really "pop" and catch your eye. Everywhere you look, you see something new!
Adding different textures that are spread out evenly on the table adds depth and character to any ordinary setting.
What is a tablescape without the delectables? Let's not forget this TASTY treat that makes this table complete: a rum cake! Renee, Jessica's mom found this yummy dessert at a local retail store. Rum cake is a delicacy made & enjoyed in Belize, and many other countries. It is typically made as a pound cake, that is flipped upside-down, while liquid rum is poured over the top to soak into the cake. You may top with a rum-based glaze and nuts for extra flavor!
Isn't this such a beautiful scene? Create your very own, and get inspired by watching the FREE video tutorial below!
PLUS, keep an eye out for our annoucement of the FREE Napkin Ring pattern, coming soon!
We hope you enjoyed seeing this all come together to create a beautiful masterpiece that you can easily create at home!
Keep up with the rest of our Blogs, posts and stories that we share on social media to continue learning with us as we "travel" through Belize this month.
Adios, and happy sewing!
