There are two types of plating methods for hardware: hanging and rolling. For hanging finish, each item is individually dipped and later sprayed with lacquer for a long-lasting coat. This process is more labor intensive than rolling finish, and therefore more expensive.You can feel and see the difference compared to rolling finish. Bag making is a passionate pursuit and takes time, so it’s important to have purse hardware that lasts.

Each style of hardware is currently available in five finishes: nickel, gold, antique, gunmetal, and rose gold. Select hardware is now available in iridescent rainbow and antique nickel finish!

Hey Bagmakers!  We are updating our policy when it comes to fulfilling orders.  As we continue to work towards shortening turnaround times and getting products to our loyal customers quicker, we are making the following changes to our ordering policies.

If a package is marked as delivered and is not received please contact your local post office or UPS to locate the package.  We are not responsible for misdelivered packages.

If a package is returned to Sallie Tomato due to insufficient address we will refund you the purchase price of the items, but Sallie Tomato will not refund shipping charges. We ship to the address that you have entered when you placed your order.  If you want the order reshipped-we can bill you separately for shipping.

Please make sure your address is correct. We are not responsible for lost or returned packages due to incorrect address.

Important: it is the customers responsibility to ensure the correct shipping address is provided to ensure timely and appropriate delivery.

We offer calculated shipping options worldwide. Our shipping is calculated by weight, dimensions of package, and location; however, sometimes the website makes a mistake, or we can fit it into a smaller size box than estimated. If the shipping seems obnoxiously high, please contact us with your order details and shipping address for a more accurate quote.

Orders ship promptly within 2-5 business days of receiving payment, unless an item is on back order or due to high sales volume. 

Express orders, such as UPS Next Day Air or UPS 2nd Day Air, will ship the next business day unless placed before 9 am CST.  Standard delivery is 5-10 days.  Priority is 3-6 days.  Priority Express is 1-2 days.  International is 3-45 days.  Please understand that we try our best to provide timely service.

Please check the UPS site if they are guaranteeing 2nd Day air.  

Free shipping items will be sent parcel ground.  If you need it faster-shipping options are available for purchase.

All First Class postage does not include insurance.

Please be aware that the purchaser is responsible for any customs, duty, brokerage fees and taxes that may occur if you are outside of the United States. If you're unsure what these fees could be, it would be best to check with your local customs office.

You will receive a confirmation email once your order is placed, and again when it is shipped. Please check your spam folder if you do not receive a confirmation email beyond our order processing time.
