Love the challenge of learning the new techniques in making this beautiful handbag. I definately put my seam ripper to good use and learned so very much. I have already cut a second bag and put all my new knowledge to use. The pattern directions and u tube tutorial was awsome … nothing was left to the imagine. I had to email a question and they were very quick to respond. Country Cow is definately a plus to my handbag making wheel house🙋🏻🥰

I enjoyed the challenge this bag provided, however there were some frustrations. This rating is a 4 star for the following reasons:
1. I followed the written instructions first and ran into two issues. The measurements as WRITTEN on the pattern pieces do not match the actual measurements. Also Step 15 as written was backward to me if following the written pattern. When watching the video it appears the explanation was also backward but I followed the visual and got the desired results.
2. I found the brown faux leather fabric to be boring. As such I probably won’t be using the bag. Also I think the kits should at least add another complimentary fabric.

The Country Cow gave more inspiration for what to do with the box, but it would nice to see a few bags made strictly with Sallie Tomato mystery box and either fabric from them or a well known artist to get the creative juices flowing.
What I mean by strictly is few get Gray Vinyl, you use Gray Vinyl not faux croc.

This was my first BOM kit and Sallie Tomato did not dissapoint. The pattern downloaded without issue and the contents of the kit were complete as described. I also started viewing the video tutorial from the bag designer, Country Cow Designs, and I am very impressed. I haven't had time to start yet but I'm looking forward to completing the project. If future kits are as good as this one, I'm going to have a wonderful collection of bags. Thank you Sallie Tomato for introducing bag maker patterns I wouldn't normally have found.

I love Sallie Tomato and its designs, materials and supplies! I loved getting the first two boxes but am canceling as I really just want their designs. The other two are fine too but not Sallie Tomato!

Le nom de ma boutique s'est développé autour de mon deuxième prénom, Sallie. De plus, le coussin à épingles en forme de tomate est un symbole bien connu de la couture. Merci d'avoir visité mon site internet!
