\nThank you for your interest in hosting a Sallie Tomato Trunk Show! This listing is for our Magnolia Trunk Show Sample Version 1. Select the month you'd like to borrow the sample for. If you're scheduling multiple samples, please make sure all samples are available for the same month. Otherwise, if you're scheduling multiple trunk shows, please check out each trunk show separately to accurately calculate the shipping. \n \nYou may wish to schedule a Sallie Tomato Trunk Show during special events, classes, or sales to inspire as many customers as possible and help boost sales. Please read the information below for details and what is required of you. If you have any questions, please contact us by email or phone. \n \nIf you haven't already, please read carefully, sign, and return our Trunk Show Agreement. Our terms are below. The cost per sample is $30 which includes our minimum of six (6) patterns at $5 each. You can order additional patterns, coordinating hardware kits, and other supplies here. The shipping cost for your trunk show will be calculated by weight and dimensions of your items.   1. SCHEDULE YOUR TRUNK SHOW THROUGH OUR WEBSITE. Please use our website to select the models you wish to borrow for your Trunk Show. You will need to log in with your assigned username and password to view the models available. Trunk Shows are available on a first-come first-served basis, so please plan ahead. Your Trunk Show is booked immediately after checkout and payment are complete.

  3. EACH MODEL BORROWED HAS A MINIMUM ORDER OF SIX (6) PATTERNS PLUS SHIPPING. You will need to pay shipping costs to receive and return your Trunk Show. Browse the patterns on the Sallie Tomato website for the supply list on the models you would like to borrow. There are related supplies you will want to order that Sallie Tomato carries for additional add on sales during your Trunk Show.

  5. TRUNK SHOWS ARE AVAILABLE FOR THREE (3) WEEKS. Your scheduled time starts upon receipt of the Trunk Show at your shop. We schedule Trunk Shows in the order in which we receive applications. We suggest that you email or call to confirm that the desired dates are available before completing the attached contract.

  7. RETURN ON TIME. Please ship your Trunk Show back to us at the address shown above within three (3) days after your show ends so others can enjoy their show according to schedule. There is a $10 service fee for each day that the Trunk Show is late. Please email the shipment tracking number to

  9. INSURANCE ON RETURNS. All models must be returned in original condition. When you return a show, insure the shipment for $1,000 (or the amount of the show’s stated value).

  11. PACK WITH CARE. Please repack the trunk show with care when returning it to us. Do not fold the models unless they arrived folded. Do not remove the packing material from inside the models as this helps prevent the models from getting damaged. You must return each model in its labeled bag so be sure to retain the shipping materials used to ship the Trunk Show to you. There will be a charge of $10 per bag if models are not returned in the labeled bags. We recommend to place the labeled bag inside the sample while on display to help prevent the bag from being misplaced.

  13. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR LOSS OR DAMAGE. A value for each model will be shown in the description of the model. You are responsible for the full value of any lost, stolen, or damaged models. We highly recommend that you fasten every model to a stationary object to prevent loss. We trust you to respect the time and energy spent making these models and to keep them in their best possible condition. Please do not display the trunk show in direct sunlight as it can cause fading.

  15. WE MUST RECEIVE SIGNED CONTRACT BEFORE SHIPMENT. We will not ship your Trunk Show until a completed, signed contract is returned to us. If we do not receive a signed contract seven (7) days after booking, the Trunk Show will be cancelled and your payment will be refunded less a $10 cancellation fee per model booked.

Hey Bagmakers!  We are updating our policy when it comes to fulfilling orders.  As we continue to work towards shortening turnaround times and getting products to our loyal customers quicker, we are making the following changes to our ordering policies.  

We will no longer be able to combine orders due to the speed of processing and orders being in different parts of the fulfillment process.
Additionally, we can not guarantee that we will add to orders that have been submitted.  Please make sure you double check your cart before submitting your orders.

If a package is marked as delivered and is not received please contact your local post office or UPS to locate the package.  

If a package is returned to Sallie Tomato due to insufficient address we will refund you the purchase price of the items, but Sallie Tomato will not refund shipping charges. We ship to the address that you have entered when you placed your order.  If you want the order reshipped-we can bill you separately for shipping.

Please make sure your address is correct. We are not responsible for lost or returned packages due to incorrect address.

Important: it is the customers responsibility to ensure the correct shipping address is provided to ensure timely and appropriate delivery.


We offer calculated shipping options worldwide. Our shipping is calculated by weight, dimensions of package, and location; however, sometimes the website makes a mistake, or we can fit it into a smaller size box than estimated. If the shipping seems obnoxiously high, please contact us with your order details and shipping address for a more accurate quote.

Orders ship promptly within 5-7 business days of receiving payment, unless an item is on back order or due to high sales volume. 

Express orders, such as UPS Next Day Air or UPS 2nd Day Air, will ship the next day unless placed before 9 am CST.  Standard delivery is 5-10 days.  Priority is 3-6 days.  Priority Express is 1-2 days.  International is 3-45 days.  Please understand that we try our best to provide timely service.

Please check the UPS site if they are guaranteeing 2nd Day air.  

Free shipping items will be sent parcel ground.  If you need it faster-shipping options are available for purchase.

All First Class postage does not include insurance.

Please be aware that the purchaser is responsible for any customs, duty, brokerage fees and taxes that may occur if you are outside of the United States. If you're unsure what these fees could be, it would be best to check with your local customs office.

You will receive a confirmation email once your order is placed, and again when it is shipped. Please check your spam folder if you do not receive a confirmation email beyond our order processing time.

Hello, my name is Jessica Barrera and I'm the Founder of Sallie Tomato. I originally opened my shop in 2014 during college. I began by selling items that I had sewn myself. It wasn’t until 2016 that I released my first pattern, the Puppy Pillow. Now, my passion is to design quality sewing patterns, so you can create too!


Sallie Tomato provides sewing patterns, purse hardware, handbag zippers, cork fabric, and select sewing supplies for bag making.


The name of my shop developed around my middle name, Sallie.  Also, the tomato pin cushion is a well-recognized symbol of sewing.  Thank you for visiting my website!
